LCFT members joined hundreds of educators, higher-education professionals, school staff, retirees, and public employees at the Illinois State Capitol, standing shoulder to shoulder with one clear message: our students, campuses, and communities deserve full funding.

As the state prepares for the Budget Address, LCFT is part of a united statewide call for:

• A commitment to fully fund K–12 schools

• Real investment in community colleges and universities

• Support for the essential services families rely on

• A responsible revenue plan that ensures the ultra-wealthy contribute their fair share
