At the November 2025 Delegate Assembly meeting, the Lake County Federation of Teachers had the honor of welcoming members of the newly elected Illinois Federation of Teachers (IFT) Executive Board.

Stacey Davis-Gates, Cyndi Oberle-Dahm, Pankaj Sharma, and John Miller joined us to speak directly to our delegation. Their powerful words energized and rallied members for the union fights ahead, reinforcing our shared commitment to protecting educators, students, and public education across Illinois.

The presence of these leaders served as a reminder of the strength and solidarity within our union. Together, we are prepared to face challenges and advocate for the rights and resources our schools and communities deserve.
