LCFT Supports Lake County Democratic Women at 2026 Annual Gala

The Lake County Democratic Women's 2026 Annual Gala brought together elected officials, community leaders, advocates, and supporters on September 26, 2026, at the Greenbelt Cultural Center in North Chicago for an evening celebrating women's leadership and community impact. 

The event featured a keynote address from Illinois Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton and recognized several individuals and organizations for their contributions to the community, including Cook County Commissioner Donna Miller, State Representative Nabeela Syed, HACES, the Center for Immigrant Progress, and Mano a Mano Family Resource Center.

The gala serves as a fundraiser supporting the recruitment, training, and election of Democratic women leaders throughout Lake County.

A group from LCFT was also in attendance, joining community members from across the county in support of leadership, advocacy, and civic engagement.
