Help Elect Pro-Education and Pro-Union Candidates and Get Paid!

The 2026 election is about more than just candidates. It is about protecting workers' rights, supporting strong unions, securing fair wages, and defending retirement benefits. LCFT Local 504 is seeking members to participate in a paid phone banking campaign to help elect pro-education candidates across Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Location: LCFT Local 504 Union Hall (West Classroom)
• Dates: Every Tuesday and Thursday beginning September 24, 2026 through Election Day
• Time: 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Pay Rate: $15 per hour

What You'll Do

Participants will make calls on behalf of a labor-backed election campaign in partnership with the Illinois AFL-CIO. All calls will be made using provided Chromebooks and headsets.

Important Information

• Up to 10 paid volunteers will be selected for each phone banking session.
• Earnings over $600 during the campaign period will require reporting on a Form 1099.
• Payment will be issued at the conclusion of the campaign period.
